Winnipeg, MB - The Santa Bus is bringing holiday spirit to Transit riders starting Monday, December 1 until Wednesday, December 24, and will be collecting cash donations for the Christmas Cheer Board.
This year’s Santa Bus is #818 and will be all decked out with holiday cheer, featuring larger-than-life images of Santa and his reindeer on the bus’s exterior.
“All cash fares and donations collected on my bus go directly to the Christmas Cheer board,” said Mr. Claus, the bus’s namesake himself. Last year, the Santa Bus raised $13,000 for the Christmas Cheer Board.
Look for the Santa Bus on the following routes:
- 11 Kildonan - Portage (December 1 to 6)
- 16 Osborne - Selkirk (December 7 to 13)
- 19 Marion-Logan, Notre Dame (December 14 to 20)
- 18 North Main - Corydon (December 21 to 24)
