Winnipeg Transit website closure for site upgrades

Released: August 15, 2014 at 3:01 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB - Winnipeg Transit’s website may be unavailable to users due to necessary website improvements between 11:00 p.m. and midnight on Saturday, August 16. Transit’s mobile site will not be affected. Regular web service will be restored on Sunday, August 17.

Users can access up-to-date Transit information through Telebus and BUStxt, and Transit’s mobile site. Each bus stop in Winnipeg shows a five-digit bus stop number. When you call Telebus at 204-287-7433, and enter the five-digit number, a recorded message will tell you when the bus will arrive at that bus stop. Alternately, residents can text the five-digit bus stop number to 287898 to receive a text with bus arrival times at that stop.

For more Transit information, residents can also contact 311, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone at 311 or by email at .
