Remainder of residential streets will be completed when weather conditions improve

Winnipeg, MB - Plowing and drainage improvement operations on residential streets began this week to improve drainage by exposing curb inlets (catch basins) in the driving lane. Additionally, where possible, the parking lane was cleared.

Due to colder temperatures and this weekend’s forecast, this operation will be suspended as of 7 p.m. tonight. Any areas that were not completed over the last few days will be addressed when weather conditions improve.

Residents who notice a deficit on their street can contact 311, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by phone or by email at 311@winnipeg.ca

The City thanks residents for their patience and cooperation during this operation.
