Full service centre at Millennium Library will enable customers to buy bus passes, tickets and receive route planning assistance in the heart of downtown

Winnipeg, MB - Today, Winnipeg Transit opened a new full service customer service centre at the Millennium Library. This full service centre will provide customers the convenience of buying bus passes, tickets, and receiving route planning assistance in the heart of downtown Winnipeg. This new location is served by bus routes from all parts of the city and is also easily accessible from all areas of downtown.

“With large demand from the public for a central one-stop shop location, Winnipeg Transit has taken this opportunity to significantly upgrade the existing facility within the Library and make changes to our other Customer Service centres to better serve the needs of our passengers,” said Dave Wardrop, Director, Winnipeg Transit.

With approximately one million visitors annually to the Millennium Library and over 8,000 daily Transit riders getting on or off the bus at stops just outside the Library’s door, this centre has the potential to be Winnipeg Transit’s busiest customer service centre. The new service centre will be open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Winnipeg Transit Customer Service Centre located at 65 Garry Street is now a business to business location only and provides service for the Ecopass and other business programs. The new retail Customer Service Centre at the Millennium Library on Graham Avenue will provide service to all passengers.

The new Millennium Library Transit Customer Service Centre is one of three customer service centres, with the other two located in the Winnipeg Square Concourse and at 414 Osborne Street.
