Southbound Empress Street East Overpass/St. John Ambulance Way to eastbound Portage Avenue to close temporarily

Winnipeg, MB - The public is advised that southbound Empress Street East Overpass/St. John Ambulance Way to eastbound Portage Avenue will be closed for a week beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 6. The closure of southbound Empress Street East Overpass/St. John Ambulance Way will occur at Westway Avenue.

The closure will allow for pavement rehabilitation and intersection realignment work.

The road will reopen at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13.

Properties on St. John Ambulance Way can be accessed via eastbound Portage Avenue to southbound St. John Ambulance Way to the lane just south of Portage Avenue. Access out of properties can be from the lane onto southbound.
