Northbound lanes at McPhillips Street underpassfrom Higgins Avenue to Jarvis Avenue closed this weekend

Winnipeg, MB - The public is advised the McPhillips Street underpass between Higgins Avenue and Jarvis Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Friday, April 19 at 6:00 p.m. and will re-open Monday, April 22 at 10:00 p.m.

The closure is due to repair work being performed on the bridge structure. The closure is being put into effect to ensure the safety of the public and to keep one lane of traffic available per direction.

Both northbound lanes will be closed to traffic, but one lane of northbound traffic will be redirected onto one of the southbound lanes. The sidewalk on the west side of the underpass will remain open.

Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes.
