WINNIPEG, MB - The Winter 2013 Leisure Guide is now available at all civic indoor pools, libraries and leisure centres, and will be available Saturday at a number of retail locations. Winnipeg Free Press subscribers will receive a copy in their weekend edition of the paper on Saturday, December 1, 2012. The Leisure Guide can also be viewed online by visiting Winnipeg.ca.
Program registration will have staggered start dates as follows:
Tuesday, December 11 at 9:00 a.m. - Registration begins for swimming lessons only.
Wednesday, December 12 at 9:00 a.m. - Registration for all other programs begins and swimming lesson registration continues.
Registration for all programs will be ongoing after these start dates. For your convenience, the City offers a number of ways to register:

Citizens who do not already have a PIN and login ID number for online registration are asked to set up an account prior to the first day of registration. This can be done by calling 311, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or by visiting any civic indoor pool or leisure centre.

In-Person Registration Locations for December 11 and December 12 only
Choose one of our Registration Centres - designed to provide you with a fast and efficient registration experience! You will receive pre-registration guidance in a comfortable waiting area with six service desks ready to complete your registrations. The following Registration Centres will operate on December 11 and December 12 only, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.:
- Central Registration Centre - Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex, 999 Sargent Avenue
- South-East Registration Centre - Louis Riel Library, 1168 Dakota Street
- Pan Am Pool, 25 Poseidon Bay
In-person registration on December 11 and December 12 will also be accepted at the following locations (check in-person registration times at the facility of your choice by calling 311 or visiting Winnipeg.ca):
- North Centennial Recreation and Leisure Facility, 90 Sinclair Street
- Transcona Centennial Pool, 1101 Wabasha Street
- St. James Assiniboia Centennial Pool, 644 Parkdale Street
- Elmwood Kildonans Pool, 909 Concordia Avenue
Please note that on December 11 and December 12 only, in-person registration will not be processed at the following locations:
- Main Floor, 395 Main Street
- Fort Rouge Leisure Centre
- St. James Civic Centre

- Bonivital Pool
- Margaret Grant Pool
- Seven Oaks Pool
Queue numbers at all in-person registration locations will be handed out starting at 7:00 a.m. on December 11 and December 12.
