Winnipeg Transit will re-route all buses operating in the vicinity of the 2012 Santa Claus Parade. The re-routes will be in effect from 3:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. (approximate). Please visit winnipegtransit.com or call 311 for more re-route information.

As increased vehicle traffic and pedestrian activity near the parade route will slow all travel in and out of the downtown area, please allow for extra travel time.

The City of Winnipeg is also pleased to be participating in the parade once again, including representation from the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service Aerial unit and Toy Mountain with The Salvation Army, Fire Fighters' Historical Society, Winnipeg Police Service, Crime Stoppers, and Winnipeg Transit. New City floats this year include the Public Works Street Maintenance Division - Know Your Zone campaign and the Public Works Forestry Branch candy cane float featuring the one and only Mrs. Claus.
