Eastbound traffic restrictions on Portage Avenue at Fort Street

WINNIPEG, MB - July 18, 2012 -As part of the work to replace the water main on Fort Street between Graham Avenue and Portage Avenue, the following traffic restrictions will occur on Portage Avenue at Fort Street between Thursday, July 19 and Sunday, July 22, 2012:

  • Thursday, July 19 - two eastbound curb lanes will be closed
  • Friday, July 20 to Sunday, July 22 - one eastbound curb lane will be closed

It is expected that eastbound traffic at the Portage Avenue and Fort Street intersection will be completed restored by Monday, July 23, 2012.

The City began a five-month project in July 2012 to replace the aging water main and the pavement on Fort Street between Graham Avenue and Portage Avenue.
