WINNIPEG - Beat the heat and enjoy the summer weather in Winnipeg by visiting one of the City's wading pools, spray pads and outdoor pools.

Outdoor Pools
The City of Winnipeg's outdoor pools open today for the Summer 2012 season. All ten outdoor pools operate seven days a week, weather permitting.

Wading Pools
Fifteen of the city's wading pools will open on Sunday for the season�"just in time for some Canada Day fun!

The remaining locations will open July 2, according to their operating schedules. Operating hours vary by wading pool, however most are open 11:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Weather permitting, the following 15 wading pools will be open on Sunday, July 1:

Spray Pads
For a different kind of water fun, check out one of the City's spray pads.

Spray pads are open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with Vimy Ridge Memorial Park open 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Spray pads will be open on Sunday, July 1 and include the following locations:
