Winnipeg residents invited to provide input on changes to downtown on-street parking

Winnipeg residents are invited to help shape the future of on-street parking in the downtown area by participating in a public consultation on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue.

WINNIPEG - March 2, 2012 - Winnipeg residents are invited to help shape the future of on-street parking in the downtown area by participating in a public consultation on Monday, March 5, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Winnipeg Convention Centre, 375 York Avenue.

The project team will be on hand to answer questions. Presentation will begin at 5:15 p.m.

City of Winnipeg residents, businesses, community groups and associations are invited to attend. No pre-registration is required.

Residents are also encouraged to participate in an online survey which can be found on the Winnipeg Parking Authority's homepage: http://theparkingstore.winnipeg.ca/theparkingstore/

The online survey will be accessible from Monday, March 5 to Monday, March 19, 2012 inclusive.
