Function

The Winnipeg Police Pension Board interprets and administers the intent of the Police Pension Plan consistent with the requirements of By-law No. 126/2011.  In addition, in accordance with By-law No. 5643/91, the Board oversees the Police Employee’s Group Life Insurance Plan.

Historically, a Deputy Chief of Police has always served as the Chairperson for the Board.
