WINNIPEG - November 4, 2008 – On Wednesday, November 12, 2008, the Millennium Library remains closed to the public. The building’s water supply has been turned off to allow workers to complete the watermain renewal along Donald Street.

All Millennium Library tours, class visits, and programs are cancelled. All community groups who have booked meeting space or tutorial rooms will be advised of the closure. The Library will make the required adjustments to due dates, hold dates and computer bookings.

During the closure, the public will have access to the lobby of the Millennium Library and the skywalk. The Library’s two book return chutes will remain open.

The Millennium Library will reopen to the public on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
