Status of garbage collection and Blue Box service for December 31st, 2004

WINNIPEG - December 31, 2004

There will be no Blue Box collection today. Garbage collection for Day 2 will only be carried out by City Forces in the Linden Woods and Waverley Heights areas. Pickup will be slow due to the heavy snowfall. A further update on resumption of Blue Box and garbage collection services will be made later today.
