City Golf Courses to Remain Open This WeekendWINNIPEG - NOVEMBER 2, 2001 - Four City of Winnipeg golf courses will be open for business this weekend. Golf enthusiasts, hoping to get in a game or two before the snow falls, will find the following City courses open on Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd and 4th, 2001.
- Kildonan Park Golf Course - 2021 Main Street 311
- Windsor Park Golf Course - 10 Des Meurons 311
- John Blumberg Golf Course – 4540 Portage Avenue 311
- Harbour View Golf Course and Recreation Complex 1867 Springfield Road 204-222-2751
All greens are open at all four courses. The courses will be open for play into next week, weather permitting. Beginning Monday, November 5, 2001 golfers are encouraged to call the course clubhouse directly to determine if the course is open.
