City Urges Residents to "Turn Over an Old Leaf"WINNIPEG - OCTOBER 1, 2001 - The City of Winnipeg urges residents to put their autumn leaves to good use by recycling them. Leaves can be dropped off at any of the 9 “Leaf It With Us” depots listed below. The leaves will be composted into a dirt-like material that nourishes new plant life.
Weather permitting, the depots are open seven days a week from October 1 to November 12, 2001.
