CSO Master Plan - Public Meeting

We invite you or a representative of your organization to attend a public meeting about the City of Winnipeg’s Combined Sewer Overflow Master Plan. We are required to limit CSOs to meet provincial legislation.

The first 30 minutes of each session will be devoted to registration, followed by a 30 minute presentation on combined sewer overflow options. The final hour of each meeting will be devoted to a question and answer period, where residents and stakeholders can provide their opinions on which control options they prefer.

There are a range of options available. Each would entail significantly different costs and environmental impacts, and each would involve different levels of interruption to City services due to construction. Depending on the option chosen, controlling CSOs could be the largest and most expensive infrastructure project in Winnipeg’s history.
