Strategies and Action Plan
2014 Open House Boards
The following are the Open House Boards that were presented at the Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies Open Houses held in April 2014. They are the result of an extensive public consultation program, including work by the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, a stakeholder workshop, a representative telephone survey, online survey, comments from the project website, social media and email contact with Winnipeg residents.
The open houses were intended to inform the public on the draft recommendations of the Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies, to address questions from the public, and to invite the public to share comments by filling out an Open House Feedback Questionnaire. Approximately 500 people attended the three open houses and over 300 filled out the questionnaire.
We received an enormous amount of feedback as a result of the Open House boards and the recommendations of the final Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies reflect this feedback. As a result the final Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies are slightly different than what was presented in the following open house boards in April 2014. The Pedestrian and Cycling Strategies should be consulted for the final recommendations.
