From flowers, birds and butterflies to rivers, creeks and streams Naturalist Services is working to protect and manage ecologically significant natural areas within the City of Winnipeg.

Natural areas found within our City are essential refuges for the many plants and animals that call these areas home. Our natural areas also provide the opportunity for recreation such as biking, hiking, fishing and wildlife viewing. These areas are significant contributors to our health, helping to filter out pollutants in our environment, cleansing our air and water.

Use the links on this site to access more information about natural areas, recreation activities and ways to become involved in protecting and restoring the nature around us.
