Indigenous People in policing career workshop

The Winnipeg Police Service Recruiting Unit is hosting a two-day career workshop exclusively for Indigenous People interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement from March 14 to March 15, 2025, at Winnipeg Police Service Headquarters (245 Smith Street).

This will be a comprehensive two-day event with various key-note speakers from within our Service, as well as hands-on experience and networking potential.

Learn about our hiring process, expectations throughout the application process, what to expect from a career in law enforcement and what a rewarding career this can be!

This career workshop is free and all Indigenous People 18 years of age and older are eligible to apply. Only successful candidates will be contacted by the Winnipeg Police Service Recruiting Unit.

Participants will be responsible for their own transportation and accommodation costs. Breakfast and lunch are provided.

The career workshop will be held from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. both days. To be selected, you must be available for the workshop in its entirety.

Please note that spots are limited, and candidates will be selected based on the completed applications, including selection criteria and cover letter.

The deadline for applications is Friday, February 21, 2025.
