Assault – Arrests: C17-30868

On February 12, 2017, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police were called to an incident at Dakota Community Centre located at 1188 Dakota Street. Initial information was that a spectator at a hockey tournament was seen with a handgun.

Responding officers determined that a group of three adult males had come to the Community Centre and began to fight with three adult male victims. Staff and security personnel intervened to separate the parties. At this point one of the accused was observed with a handgun. Security was able to detain the suspects until police arrival. The weapon was subsequently determined to be a replica firearm (BB/pellet gun).

Neither the three victims nor security personnel sustained any injuries.

Ryan Matthew BOULANGER, 28 years, of Bloodvein, Manitoba was charged with:
- Assault x 3, Possess Weapon, Fail to Comply Recognizance x 2, and Warrant of Arrest x 3
Jeremy PELTIER, 29 years, of Winnipeg, Manitoba was charged with:
- Assault x 3, Possess Weapon, Fail to Comply Undertaking
Nathan SCOTT,  23 years was charged with:
- Assault x 3, Fail to Comply Probation Order

All three accused were detained in custody.
