Lost Medication – R16-25220

On April 5, 2016, the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of lost medication that had occurred earlier in the day, somewhere between the James Richardson Airport and the River Heights area.
 
The medication which was in a pink, plastic box consists of:
   
  - 60-80 x 20mg Supeudol
  - 20 x 1.25mg Premarin
  - 40 x 150mg Moclobemide
  - 15 x 1mg Clonazepam
 
The Winnipeg Police Service reminds the public that taking large quantities of these medications alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol could be dangerous to your health or fatal.

Impaired Driving Arrest – C16-66874

On April 4, 2016, at approximately 9:00 p.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Portage Avenue and Woodlands Crescent for the report of a multi-vehicle collision.
   
Responding units arrived to find that five vehicles in total were involved.  An intoxicated woman was arrested at the scene.
   
Investigation revealed that the accused was driving westbound on Portage Avenue when she struck and went over the median, colliding with eastbound vehicles.  Several people were taken to hospital in stable condition.
   
While in custody, the accused physically assaulted the arresting officers.
   
36-year-old female of Winnipeg has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Assault a Peace Officer x 2.
   
She was released via a Promise to Appear.
