Indigenous Police Workshop August 19th and 20th, 2021

The Indigenous Partnerships Section is hosting a two-day workshop for Indigenous peoples on August 19 & 20, 2021* at Winnipeg Police Service Headquarters.

The event will include an overview of our organization as well as a formal presentation outlining our hiring process.

Through this workshop, we will deliver a creative and interactive learning experience for Indigenous people interested in careers in law enforcement, foster these ambitions, and provide them with the information and tools to reach their goals.

Information will be provided on volunteer, cadet, staff and police officer career opportunities within the Winnipeg Police Service.

Various activities are scheduled to take place, including interactive case studies, round table discussions, specialized information stations, and some special guest speakers.
