A look back at 2021
December 30, 2021
This year has been filled with monumental moments that have reminded us all of the work we have to do.
The tragedy endured by the victims of residential schools was felt though the community and reinforced the City’s commitment to the Journey of Reconciliation.
We are working towards building a more inclusive and welcoming city, where everyone feels protected and cared for. We are also investing in services to improve your lives and to get you where you need to go.
We know the pandemic’s impact will continue to be felt, and we’ll keep adapting to make sure your needs are met while working to keep everyone safe.
We’re grateful to all the essential workers, whether they are on the front lines helping residents or behind the scene working to keep us all safe. Thank you for what you do.
We know there are many struggles still ahead but by all working together, we’re looking forward to a better 2022.
