Shooting – Investigation: C23-20513

On January 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., Central District General Patrol units responded to a residence in the 400 block of Maryland Street for a report of a medical event.

Upon arrival, officers met with members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service who were treating a male in his 50s that had been shot. The male was transported to a hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
