Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C22-280975

On December 3, 2022, at approximately 2:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service attended to the southbound lanes of Century Street between Portage Avenue and Academy Road for the report of a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles and a pedestrian.

Officers from multiple districts attended and located an adult male victim who had sustained serious bodily injury due to being struck by a vehicle. Witnesses, including the drivers, remained on the scene and spoke with investigators. The victim (who is yet to be identified) was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Members of the Traffic Division continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-7085.
