Indecent Act – Public Advisory: C23-233766

On September 26, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service was alerted to an indecent act on the grounds of École Varennes Elementary School in the Glenlawn neighbourhood.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., school staff located a suspect male outside of a school exit door area committing an indecent act.

Police were notified; however, the suspect fled before their arrival.

There were no assaults or injuries to students or staff.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s with an unkempt appearance. He has a thin build and was wearing loose-fitting pants and a sweater.

Anyone with information, including home surveillance in this area, is asked to call the investigating unit at 204-986-2861 (East District Station-provide C23#233766) or anonymously at Crime Stoppers 204-786-TIPS or winnipegcrimestoppers.org
