On December 29, 2021, at 11:17 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a break & enter at a business in the area of Portage Avenue and Donald Street. A caller had reported seeing broken glass and a male inside the store.

Tactical Support Team members, with the assistance of the K9 Unit and General Patrol officers, conducted a search of the business – safely taking a male suspect into custody.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued with the investigation.

Christopher Philip Edward Beach, a 32-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Break Enter & Commit – Place

He was detained in custody.
