Homicide – Arrest: C19-300595

Released: December 29, 2019 at 8 a.m.

On December 27, 2019, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a male entered the Winnipeg Police Service Headquarters building and told officers he had killed a family member. Soon after, a caller to the Winnipeg Police Service reported finding an injured male at a residence in the first 100 block of Highwater Path.

Emergency services attended the residence and located a deceased male with stab wound injuries. The victim has been identified as Reynaldo Ramirez, a 54-year-old male.

Members of the Homicide Unit continued with the investigation.

Milles Anthony Ramirez, a 31-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Second Degree Murder

He was detained in custody.
