Celebrate safely, take a Free Ride on New Year's Eve

WINNIPEG, MB - Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) and The City of Winnipeg remind all New Year's Eve revellers to celebrate safely tonight and enjoy a Free Ride with Winnipeg Transit.

The Free Ride applies to all Regular and Handi-Transit service starting tonight at 7:00 p.m. until end of service. The last buses leave downtown at approximately 1:38 a.m. For route and schedule information, visit winnipegtransit.com or call 311.

As a road safety leader in the province, MPI is committed to reducing alcohol-related collisions, deaths and injuries. This is the second year in a row that MPI has partnered with Winnipeg Transit to provide the free New Year's Eve service.
