Activity Terms and Conditions

Activity Cancellations

Activities are subject to change. You will receive a full refund if we have to cancel an activity for any reason: insufficient registration, facility/instructor not available, etc. Your refund will not be subject to the Program Withdrawal Fee.

If the activity has already started, your refund will be prorated based on the number of classes already held.

Transfers

We will try to accommodate requests for transfers to available activities within the same session.

There is no administrative charge. If you transfer to an activity with a higher fee, you will be required to pay the difference. If the activity is of a lesser fee, you will receive a credit.

Participant transfers will be processed based on the following:

  • For activities that are three days or less in duration, requests to transfer must be made at least seven days prior to the start date of the activity.
  • For Leadership Development activities, requests to transfer must be made at least seven days prior to the start date of the activity. No transfers will be issued with less than seven days’ notice.
  • Transfers for “Learn to Swim” and “Learn to Skate” will only be accepted prior to the third class.
  • For all other activities, transfers will be allowed any time subject to availability.

Withdrawals

All withdrawals requested by participants may be subject to the Program Withdrawal Fee.

Participant withdrawals will be processed based on the following:

  • For activities that are three days or less in duration, a refund will be issued if the request is received at least seven days prior to the start date of the activity. No refunds will be issued with less than seven days’ notice.
  • For Leadership Development activities, a refund will be issued if the request is received at least seven days prior to the start date of the activity. No refunds will be issued with less than seven days’ notice.
  • For all other activities, a pro-rated refund will be calculated based on the number of classes remaining at the time the request is received. No refund will be given after the start of the third class.

To withdraw from an activity, please call 311 or visit one of our in-person registration locations.

Method of refund is determined by original payment:

  • Original payments by credit card are refunded back to the same credit card.
  • Original payments by debit card are refunded to debit card when requested in-person or by cheque processed by 311.
  • Original payments by cash or cheque are refunded by cheque.
