2018 Winnipeg's Know Your Neighbours Guide

Winnipeg's fourth edition of Know Your Neighbours Guide is a valuable resource depicting our city's remarkable cultural diversity. It is about all Winnipegers here today - the history, the people, relationships, building knowledge and connections. This new 2018 edition includes 64 cultural groups and chapters are organized by continent and alphabetically by ethnic origin. It is a great resource to help you get to know both the history and the current state of our city.

Winnipeg is in Treaty #1 Territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree and Dakota as well as the Birthplace of the Métis Nation and the Heart of the Métis Homeland. Our city is growing and newcomers from throughout the province, across the country, and around the globe continue to meet here in our vibrant and diverse city. The Citizen Equity Committee invites you to download this resource, share it and hope that it promotes open dialogue and greater cultural awareness for a city we can all be proud to call home.
