Winnipeg, November 30, 2009 – A sludge digester at the North End Water Pollution Control Centre at 2230 Main Street malfunctioned at 6:00 am on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Wastewater treatment was not interrupted as a result of the malfunction.

Winnipeg, November 27, 2009 - The City's annual Snow Route Overnight Parking Ban will take effect at 2:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2009. The public is reminded that if they have been parking a vehicle on a street that is designated as a Snow Route, that vehicle must be moved by 2:00 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Police Advisory Board ToWind Up Operations:Amendments to Police Services Act requires new Provincially-mandated municipal police boards

Proposed increase to water and sewer rates required to fund wastewater treatment upgrades
