Reconstruction of the Duck Pond Shelter begins on Monday, December 4, 2006. This reconstruction project will see enhancements to the site, including improved indoor/outdoor visibility, energy efficient and wheelchair accessible design, increased number of public washrooms, gas fireplace and public address system for special events.
During construction, the planned ice skating surface, skate change areas and public washrooms will be located just south of the Toboggan Slides and west of the Pavilion. Construction will be completed by Spring of 2007.
It's getting colder outside…watch for the opening of our Skating Rink and Toboggan Slide coming soon!
