Sunday/Holiday Bike Routes

Please note: 30 km speeds are now in effect 24/7 on all 15 designated routes. Individual routes will not be considered fully operational until after each has been serviced by the City’s spring cleanup operations. We will mark routes as "open" as conditions allow and the additional weekend measures are put into place.

The 2022 Enhanced Summer Bike Route program was approved by City Council on April 28, 2022.

This year's program features a blanket speed limit reduction to 30 km/hour on all routes, plus additional weekend/summer measures specific to each street. These changes were developed based on usage data and feedback from both cyclists and area residents.

The speed reduction will be in place 24/7 from the time signs are installed through October 31, 2022.

Weekend/summer measures and will be in place on weekends in May, June, September, and October and daily through July and August. A breakdown of additional weekend/summer restrictions for each route is outlined below.
