According to The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, property owners or an authorized agent, are entitled to the records and account histories of their properties that the City of Winnipeg possesses, for a fee.

The City of Winnipeg provides the following record searches:
  • Cross-connection and backflow prevention search
  • Cross-connection and backflow prevention search with inspection
  • Sewer By-law compliance search
  • Monitoring results
To request a search, you must provide:
  • The completed Record Search Request form
  • Written authorization or completed Consent & Authorization form from the property owner
  • The applicable fee

Wastewater monitoring-analytical results
  • Search our files and databases for analytical data that has been collected in accordance with the Industrial Waste Services Branch monitoring programs
  • Fee covers one parameter for a period of up to one year
