Primary Street Cleaning Activities
Spring Clean-Up
The removal of the winter accumulation of sand and debris. This program usually runs six weeks, approximately from April to May and includes:
- Machine scraping and sweeping of streets and sidewalks.
- Manual clean-up.
Regular Clean-Up
- Machine street and sidewalk sweeping.
- Fall clean-up.
Litter Control Paper Picking
Litter control is a service offered to the general public and businesses that provides litter pickup and the emptying and disposal of litter from litter containers in the Downtown Square, the City's Parks and other designated areas as warranted.
- Manual removal of litter from street right-of-way.
- Litter container waste collection.
