Operations Update
Winter Parking BansGo to Current Bans to see which Winter parking bans are in place and for more information.
Priority 1 streets (regional)We are sanding P1 streets to address slippery conditions and improve traction. Areas prone to drifting are being monitored and will be addressed with spot plowing where required.
Priority 2 streets (collector/bus routes)We are sanding P2 streets to address slippery conditions and improve traction. Areas prone to drifting are being monitored and will be addressed with spot plowing where required.
Priority 3 streets (residential)We are sanding intersections of P3 streets as required. Areas prone to drifting are being monitored and will be addressed with spot plowing where required.
Priority 1, 2 and 3 Sidewalks / AT trailsAs winds diminish, a full city-wide clearing of our sidewalks and pathways will continue.
Snow HaulingA major snow hauling operation is in progress in all areas of the city. Watch for temporary no parking signs that will be placed at some locations.
Snow Disposal SitesCity of Winnipeg snow disposal sites are open and available for public use 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please note that the Kenaston site has reached capacity and is closed for the remainder of the season.
