Building the Network

A growing number of Winnipeggers are using bicycles as a means of transportation for work and play. The City of Winnipeg is planning to develop cycling route improvements in your neighbourhood as part of our city’s Active Transportation Network.

The City of Winnipeg has committed to developing AT facilities that are new to Winnipeg. A "Building the Network" Open House [Background document PDF] was held June 24, 2009 to present recommendations for cycling improvements on four bike routes.
