Tree Planting

Planting of trees, shrubs, grasses and wildflowers
Ecologically significant areas where much of the native vegetation has been destroyed or was removed in the past often require active restoration. That means planting native species back into the area. Before planting, site features such as whether it is wet, dry or along a riverbank are taken into account and appropriate species are chosen for those features and that habitat type. A diversity of species are planted into the area and as the site matures other native plants will naturally move in and the natural habitat will begin to be restored.
