Depending upon the weather, the Snow Clearing and Ice Control program commences in November and continues until April.
Primary Snow Clearing and Ice Control Activities include:
- Snow Clearing - streets, lanes and sidewalks
- Snow Disposal - includes the clearing of bus stops and high piles
- Ice Control with sand and deicers
- Thawing catch basins and culverts and clearing ditches
