construction worker

The City of Winnipeg's Building and Site Design Summary (BSDS) has been updated to reflect recent amendments to the Winnipeg Building By-Law and the Winnipeg Electrical By-Law.

The Building and Site Design Summary document is a checklist and worksheet that contains all of the building permit submission requirements for commercial projects involving new construction and additions.

The document must be completed and submitted at the permit application intake process stage, along with all relevant drawings and specifications. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant. It is important to note that a building permit application folder will not be created until all submission requirements, including submission of Version 2.0 of the BSDS, are met.
