Can I take a bus to the redeveloped site?
A basic operational plan for Transit to service the site has been developed for the opening of Phase 1 (IKEA) with the routing of Route 78 (Crosstown West) providing all-day and weekend service, along Kenaston Blvd between Polo Park and the University of Manitoba, into the SE corner of the area, with Bus Stop and taper lanes.
Transit will continue to work with the Developer to expand services into the redeveloped site as additional buildings are constructed. The Developer will be required to allow Transit Service on to the property and to construct internal roadways to Transit specifications to ensure Transit Bus service.
