The Inspection Technician provides, on a city wide basis, a complete boulevard sod and tree inspection service on behalf of the Property, Planning and Development; Public Works and Water and Waste Departments. The inspections ensure compliance with terms of Development Agreements as required the City of Winnipeg Standard Construction Specifications and Standard Construction Details.
Land Development Inspection Services include:
Trees, Shrubs, Sod and Seed Inspection of all landscaping undertaken on public lands including:
- park land dedicated under development agreements
- new boulevards and/or ditches built under development agreements
- water retention pond landscaping
- under ground services (water, sewer, gas, hydro, telephone, cable) renewals
- street or sidewalk maintenance or renewal
