The mission of the Building – Zoning and Development Inspections is to protect the lives, safety and general well being of the citizens of Winnipeg and contribute to its economic development and growth. This is accomplished through the implementation, regulation and enforcement of the Building, Plumbing, Electrical Codes/Standards, City of Winnipeg Building By-laws, City of Winnipeg Zoning By-laws and City of Winnipeg Development Agreements.
