Season Reservations - Rules and Regulations

  1. Guaranteed Tee Times will commence shortly after the golf courses open for the season and will end the last weekend of September. After opening, golf course staff will contact a representative from each group to advise them of the start date of their reservation.
  2. In the event of  a cancellation of a Guaranteed Tee Time for any reason, no refunds for the registration fee will be made.
  3. The group agrees that, except under exceptional circumstances, four (4) players will use the reservation every time. (It is not necessary that the same four individuals use the reservations every weekend).
  4. All reservations will be moved back one hour for the balance of the season, effective the second week in August, in order to compensate for a later sunrise.
  5. Every attempt is made to run on schedule. However, factors beyond the control of the golf course (eg. inclement weather, frost) could delay start times.
  6. Guaranteed Tee Times may be cancelled to accommodate special events (eg. Annual Municipal Tournament)
  7. A Guaranteed Tee Time does not constitute a membership and provides no other privileges.
  8. Cancellations – groups wishing to cancel their Guaranteed Tee Time for a specific day/weekend are expected to contact their respective golf course at least four (4) days in advance of their Guaranteed Tee Time. Failure to do so on two (2) or more occasions may result in the group having their tee time canceled.
  9. Rain Checks – may be issued to Guaranteed Tee Time participants, and other golfers, if the course is deemed to be unplayable or unsafe. Only the Chief Operating Officer has the authority to issue rain checks.
  10. Frost – The City will not be responsible for frost delays. All Guaranteed Tee Time reservations will be adjusted accordingly in the event of any weather delays.
  11. Guaranteed Tee Time groups are expected to check in a minimum of 15 minutes before their scheduled tee time. If a group fails to check in or does not show up, the City reserves the right to allocate the tee time to another group.

PAYMENT:

  1. Payment of the registration fee must be made the first weekend Season Reservations commence and can be made via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, in cash or by cheque. Please make cheques payable to the “City of Winnipeg”.  The cost of a Season Reservation is $130.00 plus tax per foursome.
  2. Green fees will be paid on a pay-as-you play basis, each weekend.
