St. Vital Cemetery offers a tranquil, park-like setting with an adjacent river walk leading into the St. Vital Park. It is located at 236 River Road on the east side of the Red River, between St. Vital Park and Bishop Grandin Boulevard.
More than 6,000 interments have taken place here since 1937, when the cemetery served as the St. Vital municipality cemetery.
St. Vital Cemetery has a Roman Catholic section on the east side of River Road. All other areas of the cemetery remain open to all denominations.
The cemetery also has a large cremation garden, which offers clients many personal options for the interment of cremated remains.

Perpetual maintenance of the grounds, lots/plots, niches and cremation garden facilities is assured to all owners, through our investment of a percentage of the purchase price of all cemetery property in the Perpetual Maintenance Reserve Fund.
Note: Perpetual maintenance does not provide for the upkeep of memorials placed in the cemetery grounds.
