Norwood Grove B.I.Z.
From the Norwood Grove BIZ, the award recipient of the Mayor’s BIZ Award is Wanda Pike.
Wanda has stepped up to her role on the Norwood Grove Board with enthusiasm and passion. Her devotion to the BIZ lies with the physical enhancement and beautification of the BIZ neighbourhood. She has contributed many hours to helping design the annual planting program, researching ideas for specific flowers and shrubs, and looking at ways to maximize the BIZ’s investment in landscaping and enhancement projects for the greatest impact.
Wanda was and is always willing, and available to meet personally with suppliers, consult with the staff and put in the additional time to meet and strategize. She is always very hands-on every spring helping plant, prune and train the summer staff on the best care for the new plant selections, even going out herself to move and shift planters so they were placed “just right” or on the weekends plant rose bushes for the BIZ community.
The BIZ is proud to have Wanda Pike as a BIZ and Board member for her outstanding commitment and service to the Norwood BIZ and the community.
