STEP 1: COMPLETION OF APPLICATION

IN TOWN RESIDENT – an applicant who resides less than 400 kilometers from the City of Winnipeg is considered an In Town Resident.

The following documentation must be produced at time of application:

  1. Original proof of education: Grade 12 diploma or High School transcript (must indicate graduated) or GED certificate.
  2. Original driver’s abstract dated within 30 days of date of application.
  3. Driver’s license with photo.
  4. Personal Resume.
  5. Original proof of Canadian Citizenship (i.e. Birth Certificate or Passport or Permanent Resident/Landed Immigrant documents).
  6. Original Pardon papers if applicable. (There is no need to re-submit Pardon papers once they are on file).
  7. Original Winnipeg Police Service Required Vision Test Report completed by a qualified physician. (Related costs will be incurred by the applicant). This form is valid for a 12 month period from the test date. If applicable, Eye Surgery Report/Questionnaire.
