Part Time Positions
- Part-time Cadets are required to work full-time for the first 15 weeks of employment to accommodate classroom and field training.
- After training, part-time Cadets can expect to work approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
- The Service determines the minimum number of hours required to work bi-weekly twice a year.
- Flexible shifting options available.
- Vacation entitlement is paid out bi-weekly.
- The actual blend of full and part-time jobs will be dependant on the need of the Service and the qualified applications received in each recruitment.
- Part-time employees are entitled to a wage increase after completing a total of 2080 hours work combined with meeting performance standards.
